A1 SKIDZ is not an acronym but we hope we stand
for equality of access with individual attention
depending on need.

What can I do at SKIDZ?
A2 Most of the courses
we run are based around motor vehicles.
Courses include short "basic checks", Foundation
vehicle maintenance, servicing and repairs,
Certificate of Educational Achievement, GCSE
and NVQ Level 1.Some are car, some are motorcycle,
and some are either.

Who can use SKIDZ?
A3 Anyone aged 14 and over.

How much experience with cars do I need?
A4 It depends on the course you choose but most
need no previous experience.

How much do the courses cost?
A5 It depends on the course but several of them
are free to the students. For specific costs
please contact
SKIDZ directly.

Do I need to provide anything?
A6 No. We provide overalls, boots etc and tools
and equipment.

If I don't have to pay who is funding SKIDZ?
A7 Schools, Youth Offending Teams etc pay to
put their young people on courses. Some individuals
pay a small fee. Funders
such as the National Lottery, Wycombe District
Council, Volvo, Kawasaki contribute towards
the projects overheads.
