SKIDZ - The Wycombe Motor Project was formed in 1998 but did not start operating until October 1999. The original idea was to provide a diversionary project for offenders or those at risk of offending but before we even opened it was recognised that education and prevention was better than diversionary tactics. We therefore opened our doors to everyone in the community who wanted to learn about motor vehicles.

During term time we run courses throughout the day and also several evenings a week. In the school holidays we stay open to give young people something constructive to do during their time off. Our courses include car, motorcycle, quad-bike and go-kart maintenance and also a few computer courses.
