How Can I Help?

 Gifts and Donations to SKIDZ New Building Project

Monies donated in the various categories will result in acknowledgments recognising the value of the donation relative to the whole project. These will be applied subject to the agreement of the donor (he may prefer anonymity) and to the approval of the Trustees.

 Different levels of funding can result in a wide range of tributes to your generosity ranging from entry on our “Gifters Web Page” to naming of the building or a part of it.  Gifts of any value will be warmly welcomed and you will receive recognition, so long as you agree, proportionate to your level of generosity.

 Gift Aid and Pay Roll Giving

Please don’t forget that your donation can be significantly increased if you are a UK Tax Payer by completing one of our Gift Aid Forms. For every £1 you donate we will receive £1.28.

 You can benefit through Payroll Giving by donating direct from your gross salary to our charity. You will receive immediate tax relief of up to £4 from every £10 donated.

 Company Giving

This can be a very tax efficient way for companies to donate but they do need to speak to their accountant first.

 Gifts in Kind

SKIDZ will also gratefully accept Gifts in Kind – this can be in the form of equipment or goods, or could be in the delivery of services to the charity. If you feel you can help in this way please make contact with us and let us meet and talk through your ideas and suggestions.

 Fundraising Events

You and you organisation or company may feel you could arrange and organise an event to raise money for our appeal. This could take many forms depending on the size and scope of your organisation.

 For example a Mufti-Day at School could raise a significant amount of money but the other benefit is that it raises awareness amongst young people – some of whom will already be attending SKIDZ, or may be planning to in the future.

 Another example would be for a company to nominate SKIDZ as their Charity for the Year so that employees can feel an affinity for this local provider.Do you know? – any grant giving trusts, Government or private grant sources. Can you put us in touch with any individuals who can help?
